What is Cavitation?
Ultra Cavitation utilises ultrasound technology to destroy fatcells to reduce specific areas of fat storage.
Cavitation is great for;
*subject to consultation for individual client needs. |
How does cavitation work?Ultrasonic (sound) waves disrupt the subcutaneous fat cells through thousands of microscopic implosions impacting the fat cell membranes.
After the adipose tissue (fat cell membrane) is broken down, the fat will soon be released into the interstitial fluid between the cells, where they are enzymatically metabolised to glycerol and free fatty acids. Water-soluble glycerol travels into the circulatory system used for new energy generation whereas the insoluble free fatty acids enter the liver where they are decomposed like any other simple fatty acid. Destroying these fat cells removes the body’s immediate capacity to store fat, whist the body’s fat cell metabolism is also improved. Treatment Time
Subject to individual, but expect 30 - 60 minutes treatment time. |
CAVITATION FAQ's
Q: What is cavitation best used for?
A: Overall fat reduction, cellulite treatment and body contouring
Q: Is cavitation safe to use?
A: Absolutely. Ultrasound wave is considered as the safest medical technology. The only safe imaging technology during pregnancy is sonography which uses ultrasound and being used for medical purposes over decades.
Q: Is Cavitation treatment painful?
A: definitely not. The only downside of cavitation is you may hear a high-pitched noise which is easily bearable.
Q: Is there any downtime after cavitation treatment?
A: No. you can start your daily routine immediately after cavitation treatment.
Q: How many treatment sessions do I need?
A: We recommend a course of 6-8 sessions to achieve the best results, however your professionally trained therapist will discuss it with you to establish the best treatment plan tailored for you.
Q: When can I start to see the results?
A: Results may be seen from first session with average of 2-4 cm of fat loss and will be improved in next sessions.
